Noodles and Weight Loss ~ Weight Loss Tips

Saturday, 1 November 2014

Noodles are great for dieting. Carbohdrates are good as part of a balanced diet, but packaged noodles with flavourings are not good; they'll probably include a lot of salt and other things you don't need.

Plain noodles - or any plain pasta - with a
well-balanced sauce, say, canned Italian tomatoes cooked with olive oil, onions and wine, maybe a little cheese for protein - are great because they will leave you feeling satisfied, which is the main aim of good eating.

If you keep feeling deprived of food you'll be tempted to snack. The idea of being "on a diet" isn't good. Try to think of good food and good eating as something you do for life, as well as exercise - walking instead of driving, for example, or climbing stairs instead of using lifts.

Expensive gyms and personal trainers don't work in the long run. Eating well and moving more isn't something you just do until you can fit into your jeans, it's about health more than appearance: you work out how to be fit and healthy in the most enjoyable way and then do it all your life.
